CONCLUSIONS: Acupuncture may offer an alternative for children and adolescents with ADHD who are intolerant to medication (primarily Methylphenidate). When combined with medication or behavioral therapy, it appeared more effective in ameliorating hyperactivity/impulsivity, inattention and conduct problems than standard treatments alone.
