- I am a consultant psychiatrist in general adult and neurodevelopmental psychiatry. I completed my medical training at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, and hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychiatry from the same institution, with a focus on offenders diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. I have undertaken several fellowships across the United Kingdom and the United States.
I am currently a PhD candidate at the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Porto, conducting research on the global perspectives and clinical impact of ADHD.
My professional interests lie in both the clinical management of adult ADHD and advancing research that improves understanding of the condition. - mcorreia.joao@gmail.com
