- Profile
- I am a doctor specializing in adult psychiatry, currently serving as an assistant at the Department and Clinic of Psychiatry at Warsaw Medical University (WUM). My clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders in adults, with a particular interest in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD.
My primary research interest lies in adult ADHD, with a particular focus on women. I am especially intrigued by how hormonal changes across different life stages, such as menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause, may influence the manifestation and management of ADHD symptoms. Understanding these hormonal interactions is crucial for tailoring treatment approaches and improving outcomes for women with ADHD. I have also completed an ECNP course on the modernized concept of ADHD, which has further enriched my understanding and approach to treatment.
Additionally, I am an active member of the Polish Psychiatric Association and a member of the European Psychiatric Association's section on Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan. - agata.todzia@gmail.com
